About Our Client An opportunity to join a growing, small team based in Wellington with very hands-on Directors working with very mixed and wide-ranging industry sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. Clients vary in industry sector and turnover range from very small sole traders through to ltd companies well into the £millions in turnover. They provide the whole range of 'general practice' services across year-end accounts, tax - both corporate and personal, VAT, management accounts/bookkeeping, and payroll service provision. IRIS for accounts production and whilst they encourage the use of SAGE - both desktop and cloud, their clients also use the whole suite of online software across Xero, Quickbooks, Freeagent, and others. Job Description Joining as Senior Accountant based from the firm's Wellington offices, you will be responsible for the preparation and review of year-end accounts, personal and corporate tax compliance, and oversee wider services, acting for clients across varied industries and turnover ranges. You will have increasing client management responsibility and progress in your accountancy practice career within a successful and growing firm of accountants. The Successful Applicant You may be qualified, or part/finalist across any of AAT, ATT, ACA / ACCA etc., or have developed your career through experience only to date, with a career background within accounts/tax and all-around, general accountancy practice service delivery to wide-ranging sole trade, partnership, and limited company clients, developed within an accountancy practice firm environment of any size. You will have developed your career to around the Senior Accountant levels and be looking for a challenging new career opportunity. What's on Offer £30,000 - £38,000 dependent on the background experience and level of the right professional, plus benefits, negotiable.
