Halcyon Health and Social Care North West is thrilled to partner with a well-respected school in the Preston area to find a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist. This position offers an incredible opportunity to positively influence the lives of students in a supportive and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological assessments to identify the needs of students. Develop and implement tailored intervention plans to support students' emotional and psychological wellbeing. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a comprehensive support system for each child. Provide guidance and training to the school staff on psychological strategies and practices. Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed. Stay abreast of current research and best practices in the field of school psychology.

What We're Looking For: A qualified psychologist with a relevant degree and registration with the appropriate regulatory body. Proven experience working with children and young people, particularly in an educational setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for engaging and motivating students. A team player who can forge effective partnerships with teachers, parents, and external agencies. A strong passion for supporting children in overcoming psychological barriers and achieving their full potential.
