We are on the lookout for a general manager to split their time between two industrial sites, one based in Burton on Trent, and the other based in Sileby, Leicestershire. Our fantastic client who specializes in the field of fire doors is seeking an experienced general manager to take the reins with two sites. You will split your time equally between Burton and Leicester, overseeing both operations and ensuring the smooth running on-site. Your role will include (but not be limited to): Running production and transport at both operations Completing factory checks, including machinery, health and safety, data inputting Factory audits (ISO) Vehicle checks and servicing Overseeing and managing all factory output Issuing production schedules Maintaining deadlines Managing and supporting production and transport staff Managing HR and personnel responsibilities Recruitment and selection Sales support Location: Burton on Trent, Staffordshire Reference: 163032 Duration: If you are interested in the opportunity to work for this fantastic company and drive both sites forward as their new GM, apply today with your CV. Contract Type: Temporary Hourly Rate: In return, your salary for this position will be £36,500 to £45,000, this will be discussed at interview and based on experience. There will be opportunities to increase salary based upon site KPI’s and business development. Working Hours: In this role you will be working Monday to Friday, 07:00-17:00. As a manager, sometimes this may change, for example, the odd Saturday to ensure work is completed and orders are on schedule. Closing Date: 2024-12-23 Experience & Qualifications

You will need to have at least 3 years of experience as a general manager in an industrial or factory setting. You as a person: Experienced and skilled manager, who is good at motivating a team Diligent Hard-working Approachable Safety driven Passionate about quality and standards Collaborative Good problem solver and resolution finder We ask that applicants for this role have a full clean driving licence due to the travel between sites.
