Senior DevOps Engineer – Terraform – Linux - Python – AWS
The Senior DevOps Engineer will be required to attend the client's offices two days per week in central London. Cloud-first environment. London-based data-driven financial trading company that operates within the algorithmic trading space seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a Data and DevOps engineering team. The team works closely with software engineers, data scientists, and analytics teams to implement event-driven analytics solutions. An ideal candidate for the business would be an individual that is deeply passionate about working with high quality, well-structured infrastructure environments, leveraging the latest technology and methods available.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the growth and enhancement of their core environments.
Be fully involved in the architecture, build, and maintenance of their Linux environment.
Assist with continuous deployments across several environments.
Enhancement of automation of infrastructure systems.
Assist with the standardization of the containerized platform and drive towards Cloud.
Identify ways to improve reliability, efficiency, and quality.
Qualifications:
6+ years of commercial experience.
Proven DevOps experience within Linux environments.
Scripting experience – Python or Bash.
Implemented Automation environments across multiple environments.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Terraform experience required.
CI/CD experience.
