An established accountancy firm based in the Southampton area with a broad mix of clients across SMEs, sole traders and individuals is recruiting for a Practice Accountant to join their team.
The ideal candidate for the Practice Accountant will have a strong background in financial accounting, with expertise in various accounting software. The key deliverables of the Practice Accountant include: Prepare and review accounts for sole traders, limited companies and partnerships. VAT, CT and SATR submissions. Client's accounts payable processes. Manage queries and liaise with HMRC. Conduct monthly reconciliations of client's bank accounts and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy. Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and IRIS for various financial tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar practice accounting role and preferably be part or fully ACA / ACCA qualified.
