Competitive plus bonus & benefits A great opportunity has arisen for a qualified financial accountant to join our Commercial Retail Finance team, supporting our ‘North’ region which has over 130 stores! Based at our Leicestershire Head Office on a full time basis, our Commercial Retail team are responsible for delivering finance support to key stakeholders across the business for a variety of purposes including; Producing insightful financial reporting for key Business Stakeholders Profitability Analysis to shape store investment decisions Challenge ideas and report on their success Setting Stores Sales targets Challenging costs and highlighting areas for focus Report on store movements within our annual report About the Role Next is a dynamic and fast growing business, to succeed in this role you must be happy in a fast-moving, fluid, ever-changing environment. The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to review, advise and influence the shape and decisions made in our store portfolio. Key Responsibilities:

Business partner the North regional team being their first point of call for commercial finance questions Run Retail Store appraisals Report on Sales and SQFT movements Assess the impact of Store opening and closures Review Store Sales targets Maintain the integrity and coordinate our store profitability Liaise with Estates and Shopfitting teams Provide Ad Hoc analysis as required to support business initiatives About you

A pro-active and hands on qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with proven experience in a large company, working cross functionally with proven ability to deliver to strict deadlines. Excellent understanding of P&L with the ability to explain & educate non-finance stakeholders The ability to work productively, efficiently and effectively, maintaining attention to detail and quality Excellent planning & organisation skills Demonstrates self motivation and an ability to work on own initiative and is confident making decisions Excellent written and verbal skills, coupled with the ability to comfortably present to all levels Strong influencing and negotiation skills. The willingness to learn, improve and adapt to changing business needs. Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to think outside the box. Exceptional working knowledge of MS Office (esp.
