We are recruiting for a Performance Engineer to join our fantastic Motorsport department in Woking. As the Performance Engineer, youwill be a key member of the Motorsport Engineering team focusing on the car and systems performance of the McLaren Motorsport Vehicles.
What You'll Do
Racecar modelling and simulation
Racecar data and performance analysis
Supporting dyno Rig testing and laboratory test for system performance and reliability-related activities
Supporting testing and validation of the Complete Vehicle and its Sub-systems
Developing technical capabilities and tools as required by the business
What You'll Bring
Educated to Degree level in an Engineering or Computer Science Discipline Model-based application software coding in MATLAB/Simulink Ability to code and willingness to learn different coding languages if requirements dictate “Can-do" attitude and ability to work under pressure Personal interest in racecar and driver performance analysis Previous experience in a Motorsport environment is preferred but not essential Interest in car mechanical and software systems Experience in Powertrain or transmission control systems development. 25 days’ holiday, plus bank holiday.
