Business/Economics Academic Mentor Hours: Full Time, 8:20 am – 3:30 pm Setting: Mainstream Secondary School, supporting students aged 11-18 years Role Responsibilities:

Provide academic support and guidance to students in Business and Economics, helping them reach their full potential. Assist classroom teachers with lesson planning, delivery, and assessment in Business and Economics subjects. Develop and implement strategies to engage students, fostering participation and enthusiasm in Business and Economics. Track and report on student progress, identifying areas needing additional support. Create and update learning materials and resources to enhance the educational experience in Business and Economics. Work closely with teaching staff, parents, and external stakeholders to support students' academic and personal development. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in education and mentorship. Qualifications and Skills:

Relevant degree in Business, Economics, or a related field. Prior experience in teaching or mentoring in Business and Economics is highly desirable. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and engage students. Passion for education, commitment to student success, and a collaborative approach to working with others. Rate dependant on qualifications and experience All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
