We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead and deliver CCTV & Jetting drainage projects across both rail and non-rail sectors. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in drainage survey, design, construction, and management, with proven expertise in delivering projects to high standards, on time, and within budget. This role requires a proactive leader with excellent organisational skills and a deep understanding of drainage challenges in diverse infrastructure settings. Purpose of the Role

Be a leader to the operations team and department. Responsible for the effective and successful management of labour, productivity, quality control and safety measures. Maintain constant communication with site teams, managers and directors and clients. Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity. Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget. Track staffing requirements. Support the commercial team. Oversee fleet management. Identify and contribute to business improvement. Proactively act to identify and mitigate risks to the business and clients. Inspire and motivate team, provide direction and manage performance, guide, support and mentor team members. The role has a significant level of authority to make decisions, set priorities and direction specific to the achievement of business outcomes. In consultation with the directors. Oversee materials and inventory. Staff performance and development. Identify training requirements. Oversee the deliverables are delivered on time and to a high quality. Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organisation control of operations and customer service. Experience within the drainage sector (Surveying, Cleansing, Remedials, Confined Space). Effective at building and maintaining partner relationships with clients. Sustains momentum with faced with challenges. Balances competing demands and responds well to changed priorities. Communicates effectively and inspires people at all levels. Gains the commitment of others to drive forwards and achieve a high engagement and performance culture. Able to analyse the cause of a problem and identify a solution. Seeks to continuously improve outputs for the benefit of the business. Constantly raises the standard and quality of work, benchmarking against best practice. Set an example.
