Salary: Up to £18.00 per hour + bonus opportunity of up to £500 per month which equates to a basic annual salary of Up to £39,780 and OTE of Up to £45,780

They are now actively recruiting for a Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA Estimator for their Bodyshop in Ilfracombe.
Main Purpose of role:
Produce initial and updated estimates as specified by insurers/customers, ensuring that the vehicle repair can be carried out safely, to correct specification, efficiently, and that by doing so, a satisfactory profit margin can be generated.

Plan your workload effectively to ensure vehicles are ready for agreed timescales. Work skillfully and safely under pressure. Carry out work in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. Work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision. Be flexible in your approach. Continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind. You will ensure that all tasks carried out follow our Health and Safety guidelines; for example, wearing all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and keeping all work areas clean and tidy.
Technical Job Knowledge: The level and scope of the Vehicle Damage Assessor will be to maintain the outcomes of VDA Accreditation, Audatex, IMI Customer Service Practitioner Level 2, Level 3 ADAS, and IMIAL Level 3 Hybrid & Electric Vehicle. It is expected that the job holder will research emerging technical knowledge and automotive developments that may be present within present and future vehicles that may affect the repair following accident damage. This may involve consequential formal training, distance, or remote training. A minimum of 3 years VDA experience is preferred and candidates must hold a full and valid driving licence.
