iMultiply is partnering with an established and successful accountancy practice, based in central Glasgow, that is entering the next phase of its growth journey. As a result of this recent growth, the firm now requires an experienced Senior Accountant to join its team.

The Role

The successful candidate will work as part of a team within the accounts department, enjoying client contact and liaising with staff of varied experience levels to complete tasks in a supportive, friendly environment.

Duties and Responsibilities: Being the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients The preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, and various forecasts Overseeing VAT compliance Proactively advising clients on the most appropriate in-house software packages Allocating work to and reviewing the work of junior members of the team Taking on ad hoc analysis and project work Direct client contact will be a feature of the role, so candidates should be comfortable with and enjoy this aspect of work. The Person:

At least four years of experience in financial accounts preparation obtained within an accountancy practice environment Experience using IRIS, SAGE, and Xero would be beneficial. Qualified ICAS/ACCA (or equivalent) or 'Qualified by Experience' On Offer
