The Role

As a Financial Accountant, you will ensure that all transactional processes are delivered in an accurate and timely manner. You will be managing a team of 4 and will be reporting directly into the Head of Finance.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, organised and always strives for efficiency. You will offer full financial support to stakeholders and will add value as well as strengthen the existing team.

Role Accountabilities

Responsible for monthly FX reporting. Weekly 13-week cash flow forecasting, and tracking of actual cash collection. Responsible for currency forecasting to aid hedging decisions, capex reporting, monthly intercompany reconciliations and intercompany netting payments. Focus on debt collection supporting weekly debt calls to drive down debtor days. Worldwide VAT returns and issue resolution. Support the Head of Finance in ensuring all inter-company and intra-group transactions are fully documented. Support with annual audits and local compliance for the UK and Overseas entities. Full inventory management of all group entities. Address internal/external audit issues raised, and where necessary conduct internal audits to ensure policies and procedures are being adhered to. Manage the transactional team's performance in terms of capability, performance, behaviours and development. Support with directorship changes, ensuring board resolutions are prepared and maintained. Identify efficiencies within the transaction processes. Ad hoc projects in relation to the above. Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience

ACCA/CIMA (part - qualified/QBE considered) Experience in a similar role Strong IT skills (Excel) Experience of multi-currency ledgers and foreign exchange will be an advantage Experience of COGNOS and NetSuite Organised self-starter with ability to use their own initiative PLC reporting experience will be an advantage Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal colleagues across various departments Continuous improvement mindset If this sounds like the ideal next step in your career, then click 'apply' now!
