As we continue to scale and develop our Finance department, we are recruiting an

Accounting Director

to oversee and manage our global Accounting teams. This will include direct supervision of Accounting teams & procedures across all Booksy companies. This is an integral role within the Controllership team reporting to the VP Global Controller and providing strategic support to our Finance Leadership team.

Key aspects of the role include: Oversee the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP. Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems to support company growth. Managing the company's external audit processes, collaborating with relevant external stakeholders and ensuring all documentation is prepared and presented accurately. Ensure compliance with all debt covenants, financial regulations and standards. Review accounting memos to document complex transactions and technical accounting matters. Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management and stakeholders including audit committee reports. Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial statement accuracy. Drive initiatives to optimize accounting workflows and enhance financial efficiency. Mentoring and developing a global team of accounting professionals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and strategic decision-making.

Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Minimum of 10 years experience in accounting, with at least 5 years in leadership positions. Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls is a must. Chartered Accountant and/or Certified Public Accountant. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience working in a fast-growth organization in a related industry (SaaS, Marketplace, broader tech) is desirable.
