We have an exciting opportunity for a financial controller to join our team, to oversee and manage the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with strategic objectives. This includes implementing robust financial controls, managing group consolidations, and supporting system integrations.

Ideally, you will have experience working with multiple entities, group consolidation, and a strong background in financial controls.

About the role: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including group consolidations. Implement and monitor group-wide financial controls, ensuring compliance across all subsidiaries. Review and enhance intercompany accounting policies and processes to ensure consistency and accuracy. Manage cash flow forecasting and analysis, ensuring effective liquidity management and alignment with strategic objectives. Support the integration of financial systems, processes, and policies during acquisitions or system upgrades. Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors to ensure timely and efficient audits. Provide financial leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes across the group. Review and analyse key financial performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, corporation tax, and other statutory obligations. Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Support the alignment and standardisation of accounting policies across the group to ensure consistency and transparency. About you: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Organised and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple work-streams, prioritise and respond quickly. Proven experience, preferably 2 years+ as a fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA).
