Position Overview:Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced English Teacher to join their faculty. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of English literature, language arts, and effective pedagogical practices. This role involves designing and delivering an engaging English curriculum that meets educational standards and inspires students to develop their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive English curriculum aligned with educational standards and school guidelines. Teach a variety of English subjects, including literature, writing, grammar, and critical analysis. Utilize diverse teaching methodologies and instructional materials to address different learning styles and abilities. Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, essays, exams, and presentations. Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and a love for learning. Support and guide students in extracurricular activities related to English, such as literary clubs, writing workshops, and competitions. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and integrate cross-curricular concepts. Stay current with developments in the field of English education and incorporate best practices into the curriculum. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. QTS absolutely essential Valid teaching certification or licensure. Demonstrated experience teaching English at the secondary or post-secondary level. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to motivate and engage students.
