£45,000 - £55,000 Plus Excellent Benefits

The Company My client is a leading niche product manufacturer of specialist equipment and systems. With over 100 years’ experience they are part of a global business that supplies into multiple sectors both in the UK and internationally. As part of ongoing expansion plans, they have an excellent opportunity for an experienced QSHE Manager to lead and manage the Health and Safety function as well as developing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS). The Role Reporting to the MD, the QSHE Manager will work with all employees to improve the safety attitude and quality mindset. This will also include: Conducting regular inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes Relevant ISO & Quality standards accreditation Investigating customer, vendor and internal claims to determine root causes Implementing any necessary corrective and preventive actions Accident investigation, incidents, near misses, and environmental breaches 8D investigation & reporting reports Sharing and implementing best practice Responsibility for all QSHE associated communication Responsibility for all Quality plans, inspections and relevant documentation Facilitation and/or delivery of QSHE related training The Candidate The ideal QHSE Manager will be qualified to NEBOSH or IOSH level, have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role (within Manufacturing) and have an excellent working knowledge of QHSE legislation, such as ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and others. You will be hands-on, have a logical problem-solving mindset using standard techniques such as 8D. You will be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a positive outlook. You will also be able to prioritise your business priorities. Being a trained ISO Internal Auditor is desirable. The Benefits In return, the successful QHSE Manager will receive a competitive salary of up to £55,000 (dependent upon experience) and a flexible benefits package that includes 26 days leave (including Birthday) plus Bank Holidays, Private Medical and Income Protection cover.
