What You'll Do As an

Accounts Manager , you'll take ownership of a diverse portfolio of accounts, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of outputs to clients or senior managers. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing annual accounts, business tax, and personal tax. Identifying tax issues such as P11D, VAT implications, or loss offsets. Reviewing work by Assistants and Advisers, providing constructive feedback and guidance. Scheduling and delegating workloads while offering technical support to team members. Keeping up to date with accounting and tax developments, hosting training for staff and clients. Communicating with clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of work. Ensuring compliance with deadlines for accounts and tax returns. Preparing fee proposals and terms of engagement for new and existing clients. This is a varied and rewarding role that combines technical accounting expertise, team leadership, and client interaction.

What We're Looking For A degree or college qualification in accounting, ICAS/ACCA certification, or equivalent on-the-job experience in an accounting practice. If you are not qualified but have had on-job experience in a Finance Management capacity - we are also keen to hear from you. Strong technical knowledge and the ability to provide guidance to team members. A proactive, "can-do" attitude with excellent communication skills. Experience with accounting software and a willingness to stay updated on the latest tools and processes.
