We are seeking a Specialist SEN Learning Support Assistant (1:1) to work with a sociable Year 6 child with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs at our inclusive primary school in Felixstowe, Suffolk. The Role:

As a Specialist SEN Learning Support Assistant (1:1), you will: Provide personalised support to a Year 6 child, helping them navigate the school day and develop confidence in their abilities. Build a trusting relationship with the child, offering emotional support and promoting positive behaviour. Assist in the child’s learning journey, ensuring they can fully access the curriculum. Work closely with teaching staff to implement strategies tailored to the child’s needs. Promote a sense of belonging and inclusivity, ensuring the child feels valued and supported within the school community.
