This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic organisation and play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and compliance of their operations. Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures in line with current legislation. Conduct risk assessments and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively. Manage and monitor all health and safety documentation, including COSHH assessments, accident records, and training logs. Deliver health and safety training sessions and toolbox talks to employees. Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and recommend preventative measures. Conduct regular site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Liaise with external bodies, including regulatory authorities, as required. Promote a culture of health and safety awareness throughout the organisation. Requirements
A proven track record in a similar Health and Safety role, ideally within manufacturing or a related sector. NEBOSH General Certificate (essential). IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent qualification (essential). Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels. Proactive, organised, and able to work independently. What's on Offer
