ROLE PROFILE: Assist with all the health and safety policies Carry out, monitor and implement risk assessments Consider how to reduce possible risks Assist in writing procedures that identify and consider hazards Support with data and analysis Assist in investigating health and safety incidents, compiling reports, and making recommendations Carry out regular safety audits and inspections Maintain health and safety compliance and audit results Attend H&S meetings, taking minutes Keep up to date with new legislation Advise employees on a range of specialist areas, such as fire regulations, hazardous substances, safeguarding machinery, etc PERSON PROFILE: Seeking someone with at least one year’s work experience within H&S NEBOSH qualified in Occupational Health & Safety Excellent communication skills and able to talk to people at all levels Must be self-motivated Need someone with a positive “can-do" attitude Work on your own initiative Possess strong planning, time management and organisational skills Able to multi-task A team player ESSENTIAL CRITERIA: Strong attention to detail DESIRED CRITERIA: Experience of working in a manufacturing or construction industry Due to the number of responses generated, we are unable to get back to every applicant.
