We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the operations of this exciting new restaurant, ensuring it becomes a must-visit destination for locals and visitors alike. Key Responsibilities : Leadership & Management : Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service, high standards, and a memorable guest experience. Team Development : Recruit, train, and manage a talented team of front-of-house and kitchen staff, fostering a positive work culture and a commitment to excellence. Customer Experience : Maintain a focus on exceptional service, ensuring all guests receive a world-class dining experience, consistent with the Dean Banks Group’s reputation. Financial Management : Manage budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability through effective resource planning, stock management, and cost control. Compliance & Standards : Ensure the restaurant complies with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, and maintains the high standards expected from the Dean Banks Group. Supplier & Stock Management : Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, oversee ordering, and ensure the highest quality produce and beverages are consistently available. Marketing & Events : Work with the marketing team to drive footfall and promote the restaurant, including planning special events, seasonal promotions, and collaborations. Reporting : Provide regular reports on restaurant performance, including financial targets, customer feedback, and operational efficiencies, to senior management. Required Experience and Skills : Proven experience as a General Manager, preferably in a high-end or fine dining environment. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing talent. Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on delivering a premium guest experience. Solid financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and maximizing profitability. In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including food safety standards, licensing, and supplier management. A passion for food, drink, and hospitality, with a keen understanding of industry trends. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
