A distinguished private members' Club has a current requirement for an experienced Archivist to work on a temporary basis, withing their premises in central London.
Your Archives expertise will allow you to take responsibility for this project to provide a complete overview of archives connected to the Club and it's history.
The primary objective of this project is to create and enable access to an organised, complete Archive or mixed media collection that will include a range of archival materials and artefacts from books to art, photos, objects and other historical items of the Club.
There is the significant initial project to focus on, in addition to some potential ongoing consulting in the future.
There is potential flexibility on the structure of number of days or hours per week.
Person Specification
A professional archive qualification or equivalent experience in a professional environment.
Experience of working with mixed media collections, preferably in a luxury collection context.
Ability to work under your own initiative
