Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a full-time Accountant to work from one of our London offices and assist in building P10 Financial Group. To work in a professional and dynamic accounting team who are continuing to make significant client wins on a regular basis. You will assist in preparing accounts and work closely with the Accounts Manager and Partners. Assist with Quarterly Management Accounts and some ad hoc project work with clients, including financial reporting for larger businesses. Assist with Quarterly VAT Returns (bookkeeping will be done by other team members). Maintain close liaison with the Tax team, particularly around Corporate Tax Returns. Work with the sales team on onboarding new clients. The Candidate:
A great choice for a client-focused Accountant with up-to-date Accounts Preparation skills - FRS102 and FRS105. The ideal candidate will be a Qualified AAT accountant, and those who have early papers to complete in ACCA will be supported. You will be tech-savvy and adapt to working with Xero and equivalent software. Experienced in the preparation of year-end statutory accounts. You MUST have previous or current experience working within a firm of Accountants and managing a small portfolio of clients. Possess great emotional intelligence, i.e., must be able to build meaningful relationships. Confident in communicating with people at all levels of seniority. Excellent time management, planning, and organisational skills. Motivated to grow and have a desire to progress in your career. Ability to use various IT tools such as financial and administrative software, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
