Head of Infrastructure and Security - Sheffield (Hybrid) - £85k
Ada Meher are currently partnering with a client based in Sheffield who are looking for a Head of Infrastructure and Security to drive forwards their Cloud Infrastructure, Cyber Security & Service Desk on a hybrid remote basis. This will involve oversight of the team working on improving the availability and scalability of their developer and client environments using a variety of AWS technology, including Terraform, as well as a more hands-on involvement in improving the company's Cyber Security practices and helping to achieve both ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials + accreditations. The company is looking for a candidate who has exposure to line management of Cloud professionals as well as experience instigating and driving transformative AWS projects as they seek to constantly improve their AWS/Terraform estate. They are also looking for someone with a background in more traditional IT and experience implementing new Cyber Security policies. In terms of working flexibility, the company employs a fully flexible hours policy, allowing employees to complete their responsibilities and tasks around their life commitments. However, given the nature of the role, they are looking for someone local to Sheffield who is able to be in the office a few days per week.
