The Project As a highly experienced Senior Site Manager, your role will be key in the successful handover of a healthcare refurbishment in Lincolnshire. You will lead the project team on site, ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and carefully manage documentation/progress reports for stakeholders. Requirements For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum: SMSTS First Aid CSCS Black Card It is also essential that you hold the experience below: Experience delivering projects in the healthcare sector is advantageous however all candidates with extensive, all-rounded, industry experience are of interest. Proven history of delivering new build/refurbishment projects in excess of £1m in a Senior Site Management role or a similar position. Proven background within the industry with at least 5 years of experience working with a leading construction contractor or subcontractor. Additional skills: IT skills Efficient negotiation skills Effective time management Quality & Risk management Understanding of construction laws and regulations Ability to lead, motivate and manage a team effectively In depth understanding of contract terms and conditions Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail Holds a thorough understanding of relevant health and safety regulations A solid understanding of construction materials, methods, and techniques Strong expertise in planning, scheduling, and coordinating complex construction projects The Role Job Title: Senior Site Manager Job Type: Freelance Project: Healthcare refurbishment to an existing medical unit Location: Grimsby, Lincolnshire Duration: 3 Months Reporting to: Contracts Manager Duties: Inductions Toolbox talks Progress reporting Updating site diaries Quality inspections/snagging Ordering/receiving of materials Develop and manage project schedules Chairing and participating in project meetings Foster a positive and collaborative work environment Monitor progress and adjust schedules as necessary Guarantee compliance with environmental regulations Conduct inspections and address any issues that arise Manage the allocation of equipment, materials, and labour Ensure construction activities adhere to legal requirements Address client concerns and ensure satisfaction with project progress Manage project closeout, including inspections, punch lists, and client handover Making certain all necessary permits and inspections are obtained and documented Assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring team alignment with project objectives Ensure work on the construction site meets quality standards and adheres to specifications Maintain detailed project records, including daily logs, progress reports, and compliance documentation Oversee strict adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies, fostering a safe workplace Supervise all aspects of site operations to guarantee the project is completed according to the established timeline, stays within the allocated budget, and adheres to the specified quality standards.
