Hotel Revenue Director
to join our growing team. This role will be located in the UK and will be mostly remote, with some travel to our office in Sheffield. WHAT WILL YOU DO? This role will take ownership for maximising relationships with hotels across our events, and implementing strategies to improve commercial performance as we continue to grow our business. We are looking for an innovative and entrepreneurial candidate, with strong industry and commercial experience and awareness. This role will include regular UK and international travel to hotels and events. RESPONSIBILITIES Pricing Strategies:
Use your in-depth knowledge of hotel revenue management systems and procedures to analyse and implement pricing strategies. Hotel Relationships & Negotiations:
Managing and maintaining relationships with major hotel groups, and negotiating block allocations at major hotels. CRM Management:
Become a fully trained operator of the CRM system using all available courses and materials. Ensure that the CRM system is up to date, accurate and complete at all times. Networking:
Participate in activities to build leads and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including overall responsibility for managing relationships with major hotel groups. Event Strategies:
Working with operations and technology teams to design and implement efficient distribution channels, promote direct integration, and strategies for new events. Negotiate Contracts and Agreements:
Work with the Legal team to negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to secure mutually beneficial deals. REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS Experience:
Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in hotel and travel/accommodation services, including at least 5 years in a senior revenue management role at a major hotel operating company. Commercial Acumen:
Strong commercial focus with a proven track record in negotiation and contract management. Industry Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of hotel house, channel and revenue management systems, with hands-on expert understanding of hotel management systems and process. Bi-Lingual:
Fluent in a second European language (either German or Spanish). Self-Motivation:
A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as a team to deliver results. Technical Proficiency:
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and familiar with a major CRM system. Interpersonal Skills:
