The role: The role ensures VAT compliance across complex billing systems, integrates tax processes into operational platforms, and drives improvements in tax reporting and controls. The position combines VAT expertise, systems knowledge, and project management skills to support compliance in a dynamic, regulation-driven environment. Responsibilities: VAT Compliance and Systems Integration:

Ensure VAT compliance across billing platforms, integrate tax processes, and maintain accurate VAT reporting. Tax Controversy Management:

Manage and resolve VAT-related issues, provide documentation for audits, and mitigate risks. Project Management:

Lead VAT compliance projects, coordinate between departments, and deliver system enhancements. Data Analysis and Reporting:

Analyse large datasets, ensure accurate VAT calculations, and develop compliance dashboards. Billing Systems Expertise:

Ensure accurate VAT reporting, validate tax calculations, and monitor system performance. Controls and Compliance:

Implement VAT controls, update systems for regulatory changes, and maintain compliance documentation. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work with finance, IT, and operational teams, train internal teams, and support complex compliance issues. Requirements: VAT Compliance:

Expertise in VAT compliance within complex billing systems. Project Management:

Proven skills in managing tax-related projects. Data Analytics:

Proficiency in analysing large datasets and identifying VAT issues. Communication:

Ability to explain complex tax requirements to various stakeholders. Qualifications:

Degree in finance, taxation, data analytics, or related field; experience in VAT compliance and systems integration. Candidates will ideally show evidence of the above in their CV in order to be considered.
