Pricing/Data Analyst
Salary £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE) + Benefits
Cardiff - Hybrid Working (2/3 days a week onsite)
CPS Group are working with a well-established insurance organisation based in the heart of Cardiff who have a fantastic opportunity for a Pricing/Data Analyst to join their growing team. In this position you will be focusing on developing and implementing pricing strategies using sophisticated data and analytics.
This is the perfect opportunity for candidates with some prior experience in a similar position who are ready for a new challenge in an exciting and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain statistical models to analyse pricing performance and total profitability Recommend rating action and changes to pricing structures based on detailed reviews of competitive position, customer behaviour, claims performance and profitability Analyse and monitor competitor pricing activity This is a varied role and provides the opportunity to have an impact in a variety of areas within the business Candidate Skills/Experience:
Prior experience in a similar position with a transferable skillset Prior experience with analytical software and tools (e.g. SQL, SAS, R, Snowflake, Looker) Demonstrated ability to analyse data to support decision-making Able to identify, investigate and explain data trends Excellent communicator, able to convey complex results to technical and non-technical staff Contact: Matt Jacob - CPS Group UK
