Our client, a prominent organisation within the water sector, is currently in search of a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in the northern Thames Water region. This contract position is focused on Thames Water projects, specifically capital works.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing all aspects of quantity surveying duties and responsibilities Overseeing cost management and budgeting for Thames Water projects Ensuring compliance with NEC contracts and project guidelines Collaborating with project teams to deliver accurate cost forecasting Assessing and managing risk on projects, providing financial and contractual advice Conducting valuations and agreement of interim valuations and final accounts Supporting procurement processes and contract administration Liaising with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
Job Requirements:
Experience in Quantity Surveying within the water sector Extensive knowledge of Thames Water projects and capital works Proficiency in the use and management of NEC contracts Strong financial and commercial acumen Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
