Job Description

Role - Service Delivery Manager Location - West Yorkshire Contract (Inside IR35) Work Mode - Hybrid Rate - 300 Pounds/Day Experience: 14+ years of experience in IT industry with Manual, Automation testing along with account management skill set. Knowledge of Financial Services, Mortgage Servicing, Banking, Insurance industries and markets is highly regarded. Experience in Tools like Selenium, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GIT, Bugzilla, JIRA, Elementool, TFS & MTM. Previous experience working on large system implementation projects. Significant experience as a manager working within software development and change across the full software development lifecycle, ideally within an enterprise context. Experience in using and implementing agile methodologies. Experience of mentoring staff with a track record of maximising the individual potential of team members. Excellent leadership skills – sets direction, builds consensus and shares a vision and values. Motivates and empowers employees. Leads effectively through change and adversity. Excellent management skills – organising work and resources, planning and setting priorities, delegating effectively, timely monitoring and performance management. Experience of stakeholder management – building confidence, setting expectations and meeting commitments to increase customer satisfaction. Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with staff and stakeholders. Strong work ethic and high levels of initiative with ability to deal with conflicting priorities. Collaborates and communicates well, builds great working relationships, influences others, challenges effectively and responds well to challenge from others, shares information and ideas with others, has good listening skills. Curious and continuous learner – investigates, interprets and grasps new concepts. Self-motivated and can use own initiative to recommend innovative solutions. Pays attention to detail, finds root cause and takes a rigorous approach to problem solving. Key Deliverables: Facilitates delivery of high-quality solutions that are stable and resilient; conform to security and architectural standards; and are developed in line with the software development methodology. Works collaboratively with stakeholders to shape new client propositions and services. Uses meaningful metrics to track delivery of value and high customer satisfaction. Collaborates to ensure the smooth transition of new or enhanced products into production. Ensures appropriate use of available resources. Focuses on innovation, quality and productivity to uplift delivery capability. Embeds a culture of continuous improvement and collaborates with other teams, specialists and stakeholders. Manages individual and team performance and progress to meet objectives through goal setting, regular feedback, coaching, reward and recognition and following the appraisal process. Looks ahead to ensure the team has the talent it needs to attain its goals. Identify and nurture potential and provide a supportive and challenging environment for staff to learn and develop. Ensures all IT governance and business processes are adhered to.
