Reporting to the Chairman & Group CEO, the Managing Director will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of this multi-site business. The Managing Director is the Board Director responsible for the profitable, efficient, and safe operation of the business. Providing leadership to the team of Executive Directors, supported by the Chairman and Non-Executive Directors, the Managing Director will set tasks, targets, and objectives that align with the long-term strategy. With ultimate responsibility for the business's financial performance, from driving sales to managing costs, you will navigate the business according to market forces and trends whilst being tasked with overseeing the deployment and resourcing of infrastructure maintenance and new business capital investment projects. We are looking for a personable and calm leader with an approachable, team and customer-focused attitude. The Person:

The Managing Director will have demonstrable experience in a Managing Director, Chief Executive, or Chief Operating Officer capacity. You will have multi-site, multifaceted operational experience from a customer-focused business. You will be commercially astute and financially aware with a proven track record of managing a multi-site P&L. Have the ability to demonstrate where you have improved profitability and grown businesses. Have a proven track record in developing business plans, financial analysis/cash flow, and strategy development. Be an exceptional people manager with success stories in people development and succession planning. Previous experience in multi-let property management, FM, EPC, and service charge would be an advantage. Excel in presentation skills and can demonstrate a calm, factual, and direct verbal and written communication style. Be well versed in working in a senior team or Board environment.
