Group Financial Controller | Belfast £60,000 - £65,000 Reed is assisting in the appointment of a newly created Group Financial Controller role for a recognisable retail group in Belfast. Reporting to the Group Finance Director and managing a small team, we’re seeking an ambitious individual with established leadership and technical skills to assume this key role. Key areas of responsibility include: Managing, mentoring and motivating the small finance team Oversee the preparation and presentation of the of monthly management accounts to the board of Directors with insights Monthly balance sheet reconciliations Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts Preparation of year end packs for external auditors and annual statutory accounts Develop and implement internal financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems Monthly cash flow analysis and Re-forecasting Management of day-to-day financial activities Act as a key partner to the other Heads of Departments in strategic and operational areas of the business. To drive continuous improvement both in the department and wider business. About you! A Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, or equivalent) preferably with experience in a growing SME Commercially astute and able to work in a fast-paced environment Established management/leadership skills Highly motivated and can lead and positively influence others The Rewards: Competitive salary plus bonus Excellent career progression opportunities Life Assurance Competitive contributory pension scheme Early Friday finish!
