Teaching Assistant

to join their team immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate who is passionate about education and keen to make a meaningful impact on young learners. In this role, you will work closely with students in

Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2

providing tailored support in

literacy and numeracy

.

The school also offers the opportunity for

teacher training in your second year , making this an ideal starting point for those with aspirations to teach.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the classroom to ensure students remain engaged and meet learning objectives. Provide small-group or one-to-one support in numeracy and literacy activities. Collaborate with the class teacher to create a positive learning environment. Foster the development of students' social, emotional, and academic skills.

Ideal Candidate:

A graduate with a

2:2 or above

in any discipline (Education, Psychology, or related fields are advantageous). Passionate about working with young people and making a difference in their education. Experience working with children, whether through

youth work

,

sports coaching

,

or similar roles, is desirable but not essential. Organised, proactive, and committed to the full academic year.

83 - 95 per day (dependent on experience, qualifications, and training). Contract:

Long-term temporary, with the potential for permanent roles. Hours:

Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm. Experience:

Previous experience is desirable but not essential. This position provides an excellent platform for graduates to gain valuable classroom experience and begin their journey in education.
