To help organizations ensure they're making the most effective investments, Sylvera builds software that independently and accurately automates the evaluation of carbon projects that capture, remove, or avoid emissions. With Sylvera's data and tools, businesses and governments can confidently invest in, benchmark, deliver, and report real climate impact. Our team is made up of leading minds in climate change from scientists to policy, finance and carbon market experts. We work in partnership with scientific organisations, universities, governments and think tanks to develop and test rigorous and holistic ratings methodologies, leveraging the latest technology. Founded in 2020, Sylvera has employees worldwide with offices in London, New York, Belgrade and Singapore. We’ve raised over $96million from leading VCs like Balderton Capital, Index Ventures and Insight Partners to date. What will I be doing? Reporting to the COO, you’ll play a central role in shaping a culture where employees can perform at their highest level and do career-defining work. Specific responsibilities will include: - Partnering with managers providing guidance on performance, engagement, and career development - Driving initiatives to develop a high-performing culture that aligns with our values and ambitious goals - Acting as a thought partner to the COO and other People Partner (Maddie!) and managers on organisational design and workforce planning - Supporting employees through their full journey at Sylvera, from onboarding to career progression - Managing employee relations, providing clear guidance on people policies, and working with our Legal team to ensure we are at all times legally compliant - Measuring and improving employee engagement and wellbeing - from data through to action We’re looking for someone who:

Has 4-6 years of experience in a People function - this must be in a venture-backed environment Has a bias for “done” rather than “perfect” - we want quick iteration cycles rather than multi-quarter projects Has a proven ability in equipping and challenging managers to support their team well Has a proven ability to increase talent density through reward and performance management Naturally contributes towards the everyday vibe of the office Understands our mission and cares about making every employee understand their contribution towards it We’d like someone highly ambitious, motivated and eager to propel their career forward.
