Shop Manager Required - High Street Retail Shop

Winter 10am-6pm, Summer 10am - 8pm/9pm Exciting opportunity with a solid growing company that is looking for an experienced retail Shop Manager to run a retail clothing, gift & souvenir shop in central Edinburgh. My client is looking for an experienced Shop Manager with at least 2 years experience to run the operation which sells an array of souvenir gifts, clothing & liquors. The role will lead a small team & will be hands-on managing the business, the team stock and ensuring customers get a great level of service. Responsibilities:
Day to day management of the shop - opening & closing, cashing up etc. Providing excellent customer service for all visitors - dealing with purchases, handling inquiries etc. Supervise staff & train new recruits. Maintain stock levels & place orders for products. Ensure that the shop is clean & organised and that products are displayed well & are constantly restocked. Handle any customer queries or complaints. Experience Required:
At least 2 years previous experience as a Shop Manager. Organised with great attention to detail. Punctual with great time management. Good administrative skills - able to manage stock, cashing up etc. The ability to manage & motivate a small team. Happy to be hands-on. Salary:
The hourly pay for this role is between £25,000 - £28,000 per year (hourly paid £12.00-£13.50 an hour) plus various benefits and career progression. The working week is 40 hours.
