Job Title: Risk and Resilience Lead Duration: 12 months Location: Warwick/Hybrid (once per week requirement in the office) Salary: £575 - £625 per day via Umbrella Are you ready to make an impact in the exciting field of low carbon electricity transmission? Our client, a leader in Interconnector Operations, is seeking a Risk and Resilience Lead to join their team on a 12-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in the decarbonisation of the electricity network, ensuring security of supply for the countries we connect. What you'll do: Facilitate Risk Management best practice, identifying and mapping the relevant risk landscape to business objectives. Create holistic risk reporting on Interconnector Operations by assimilating and validating information from across the organisation. Develop and maintain efficient processes to support business decision-making and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Build effective relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their objectives and the risks they face. Support the identification of risk and assurance gaps, implementing effective mitigation strategies. Lead risk workshops to help the business identify risks and develop mitigation activities. Drive the implementation and coordination of business resilience and data management activities. Coordinate business continuity activities, including Business Impact Assessments and testing. Support critical incidents, overseeing their development, documentation, communication, and understanding. What you'll bring: Working knowledge of risk management, control frameworks, and financial and commercial understanding. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong experience in process improvement and business analysis. The ability to build collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Proven experience in leading and managing multiple activities simultaneously. Understanding and experience of Business Continuity and Resilience Management Principles. Ability to mobilise virtual teams and deliver effective training and coaching on risk and assurance practices.
