Your Role and Responsibilities Work in an Agile, collaborative environment to build, deploy, configure, and maintain IBM Automation for SaaS products on multiple hyperscalers. Use continuous integration tools like ArgoCD and Artifactory to build automation pipelines to deploy different service workloads for IBM Automation SaaS products. Collaborate with multiple development teams to enable a continuous integration environment that is highly resilient and emphasizes defect prevention techniques. Design and implement automation for deployment, monitoring, logging, alerting of large-scale distributed SaaS environments. Demonstrated skills in leadership, communication, coaching, analysis, problem solving and short term and long-term planning. Goal oriented, forward thinker that can provide solutions for complex technical problems.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise Several years of experience in virtualization, containerization technologies, containers orchestration software and cloud platforms. Kubernetes or Openshift clusters administration and configuration management. Usage of cloud services (Amazon Web Services, IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform). Languages: GO, Python, Bash. CI/CD Pipelines: ArgoCD, Tekton, jfrog Artifactory. Experience in observability and alerting systems, Prometheus, Alert Manager, Grafana, open telemetry or similar systems. Development and operation of fully managed SaaS services. Source Control Tools: Git. Excellent communication skills. FinOps or cloud optimization software.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise Experiencing developing tools that promotes automation within a SaaS environment. Open-source software development. Strong Linux/Unix skills within a cloud environment. Exposure to infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Ansible. Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP).
