An established, profitable, and reputable accountancy firm is seeking to hire an experienced professional who has the ability to develop into a Partner/Director role at their offices in Leicester.
With the age and stage of the current ownership, they would like to bring someone in soon, allowing for a good handover of the work and client relationships.
On a day-to-day basis, the firm wants someone to: Review client files and ensure the work gets processed. Deal with letters of engagement. Take work to the point where the Partner can meet with the client and conduct a clearance meeting. Ensure all files are complete and ready for Partner review, so the Partner can send the signing pack out and ensure billing is completed.
On the staff side, you will also help employees reporting to you with technical queries and plan work in progress. The firm can support qualification for a practicing certificate and/or R.I (Responsible Individual) status, allowing you to be in charge of audit clients and sign off.
With a strong starting salary, the firm offers a trajectory to buy into the firm at a realistic valuation and enables your development to a full Partner position. With circa 12 to 15 audits overall, this firm would ideally like this person to assume control of those, plus oversee work done by the accounts, payroll, and tax staff.
