The opportunity: Leonardo, Edinburgh is home to our world leading Advanced Targeting, Typhoon, and Airborne AESA Radar business areas. This is also home to our servicing and support line of business (CS3) who are uniquely positioned to service our world leading radars, lasers and infra-red countermeasure systems. Within our Quality Function we have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Auditor to help drive our internal audit programme and certification ambitions within our UK Business. What you'll do as a Systems Auditor: You will lead on audit and certification activities at our Edinburgh and Newcastle sites. As part of the UK Management Systems team, you will undertake high-level strategically important audits of our management systems, exercise governance reporting of the local audit programmes and facilitate certification body and regulatory assessment visits managing findings to a successful conclusion. What we need from you: What you really must have: Extensive knowledge of AS9100 Quality Management Systems, Working knowledge of DAOS (Design Approved Organisation Scheme) requirements, Experience of working in a high-tech engineering & manufacturing environment It would be nice if you had: Experienced management systems auditor, ideally independently certified (e.g. IRCA) Ideally experience within the aerospace and defence sector Security Clearance: You must be eligible for full security clearance.
