We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Employee Relations (ER) Advisor to support a global HR team in enhancing their employee experience and driving effective ER practices. As an ER Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing expert guidance and support on employee relations matters. You will work closely with management and employees to facilitate a positive work environment, resolve conflicts, and promote fair treatment in accordance with company policies and employment law. This role offers a hybrid working model, allowing flexibility between remote and office work. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert advice on employee relations issues, including disciplinary and grievance processes, performance management, and workplace disputes. Collaborate with line managers to develop effective ER strategies and solutions that align with business objectives. Conduct investigations into employee complaints and concerns, ensuring thorough documentation and adherence to legal requirements. Assist in the development and implementation of ER policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with current employment legislation. Deliver training sessions and workshops for managers and staff on ER policies, conflict resolution, and best practices. Monitor trends in employee relations cases and produce reports to identify areas for improvement in workplace engagement and satisfaction. Support the HR team in various projects aimed at enhancing the employee experience and fostering a positive workplace culture. Act as a point of escalation for complex ER issues, providing thoughtful recommendations based on best practices and legal considerations. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in employee relations or HR advisory roles. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and best practices in employee relations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders at all levels. Proven problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving conflicts and issues. High level of confidentiality and integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive information. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management systems. Additional Qualifications (Preferred): CIPD qualification or equivalent. Familiarity with performance management systems and employee engagement strategies.
