Senior Cybersecurity Lead

required for a rapidly growing and largescale global organisation, based in Glasgow. The Company: The business is a national renewables organisation and they are growing their digital capabilities greatly. This is a new position, created to help develop internal cyber protocols and improve them across the business. Sitting within a wider team of roughly 120, you will report into the Head of Cyber and will be involved in making a number of "nitty gritty" decisions. You will be working across a widespread number of projects, all aimed at modernising and improving the Cyber environment. The company seeks some presence in the office (1 or 2 days a week), but there is flexibility on the days. They offer a very strong benefits package on top of the salary including a 20% bonus, car allowance, strong pension, and other additional perks including family healthcare. The Role: This position is a brand new one, sitting amongst an ever-growing Cyber function. Reporting directly to the Head of Cyber Security, this is a key priority for the company. This is an individual contributor role, requiring strong Cyber Security knowledge. There is potential to manage a couple of other Cyber specialists, but this is not guaranteed. You will not have any direct reports; however, it is a leadership role from an experience and mentorship perspective, as well as the ability to shape the cyber landscape across the business. You will often lead key projects but won't be the hands-on person. You will need to assess solutions critically and come from a technical background. This role resembles that of a Principal level Cyber Security Engineer within a global business of thousands of staff. In terms of focus, the three key areas are Vulnerability Management, Pen Testing, and Control Assurance, along with a focus on modern tech and emerging threats. They need someone knowledgeable in these areas without being a tech expert. Key Skills and Experience:

A number of years in security with a specific Cyber focus (7+ years) A strong Cyber focus, with knowledge across areas including: Vulnerability Management, Risk Management, Control Assurance, Penetration Testing, Emerging Threats, Assessing Technical Designs, etc. The ability to interact with a wide range of business users, from technical individuals to high-level board members. Able to develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Qualifications such as: CISSP, CISM, ISO27001, SOC2, etc. are beneficial. This is an opportunity to join a growing team within a technology company that invests heavily in both their staff and technology as a whole. They treat their employees very well, along with offering excellent benefits. If you are interested, please apply or call Hamish at Cathcart Technology for a chat. Job Info Job Title:
