Role Overview We’re looking for a skilled Frontend Engineer passionate about creating outstanding user experiences on top of HIVED’s emission-free parcel delivery network. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be an integral part of the team, responsible for the full software development lifecycle—from discovery and design, to deployment and monitoring. You should be passionate about user experience, always looking to create accessible and modern products, and have the technical expertise to deliver excellent solutions. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in shaping the frontend engineering culture and best practices at HIVED. You’ll be embedded in a cross-functional team, collaborating directly with other software engineers, product managers and UX designers, with the mission of revolutionising the user experience in parcel delivery. Projects span from building dashboards for large businesses to creating recipient tracking features, including live tracking pages, all designed to be best-in-class products that give HIVED a competitive edge. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain frontend applications for HIVED’s user-facing products. Plan and lead projects along with other software engineers, product managers and stakeholders. Monitor and optimise application performance. Improve and scale engineering processes, tools, and standards. Requirements Proven experience as a Frontend Engineer or similar role, with 5+ years of experience. Experience in architecting, designing, and building React applications. Skilled at writing clean, performant and testable code in JavaScript / TypeScript. Strong CSS skills with an understanding of web accessibility standards. Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
