The Company: Seymour John in partnership with a nationwide organisation who are seeking a detail-oriented Group Stock Accountant to join our client’s team. This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT studier looking to enhance their career in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for checking and reporting on stock across various depots, conducting audits, and reviewing items ordered versus items in stock.
The Opportunity: Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will be responsible for traveling around various sites across the country and reporting on £50 million worth of stock across the sites of the business. Key responsibilities would include: Cashflow forecasting Assisting with budgeting Implementing systems Conduct stock audits across multiple depots Review and report on stock levels and discrepancies Analyse ordering processes and stock availability Collaborate with depot managers to ensure accurate stock reporting Assisting on additional tasks within the finance team
Personal Profile: Ideally, we are looking to speak with AAT studiers who are happy to travel around various sites conducting physical stock audits. This is a newly created role and requires someone who is happy to collaborate across the wider group. As well as the stock side of the role you will also be assisting with day-to-day finance duties supporting the wider finance team.
