A leading accountancy firm is seeking a capable Practice Accountant for a key job role at their Leicester office, primarily focused on managing a client portfolio as a Client Manager.
The firm is also interested in a capable Accountant for a rounded accounts and tax position, but without the initial client portfolio responsibility. Applications are welcomed from people with experience gained in an accountancy practice at both levels.
The role will oversee the delivery of accounts, tax, and statutory services, offering opportunities for the provision of bespoke support and advice to ambitious business owners and their businesses. Operating in a Client Manager position, you will manage a portfolio of mixed clients, reviewing and reporting, undertaking client visits, and having positive interactions with customers.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Support your clients, provide advice, and refer them to colleagues where relevant for specialist advisory services. Pro-actively manage the portfolio, including WIP management and debtor management to meet client deadlines. Support Directors in ad hoc projects. Assist in the management of the office and develop junior members of staff.
