Develop products from early stage concepts Design Products:
3D CAD design and design for manufacture Prototyping & Testing:
Build prototypes, conduct experiments, and perform reliability testing Collaboration:
Work in multidisciplinary teams Project Management:
Mentor and technically guide engineers Requirements:
Degree:
In relevant engineering discipline Skills:
Strong 3D CAD skills Experience:
Proven experience in developing new products & precision mechanisms Knowledge:
Of a range of manufacturing techniques Hands-on skills:
Practical skills – prototype & test Industry Experience:
In machinery, medical, consumer & energy is advantageous The salary will be between £60,000-£75,000 depending on experience. There is also a generous benefits package available.
