Permanent/Full Time Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Salary:
£42,000 per annum + Onsite Allowances (total package £45,000+)
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced
Air Compressor Engineer
to join a leading facilities maintenance provider. This role is based at a large, prestigious site, and involves maintaining, servicing, and installing a range of compressed air systems and related equipment. You will work on planned and reactive maintenance tasks, fault finding, and installations, ensuring high-quality service delivery to a key client.
Key Responsibilities: Perform
planned and reactive maintenance
on a variety of compressed air systems. Diagnose and repair
mechanical and electrical faults
on customer equipment, both onsite and in the workshop. Conduct
PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection)
and commissioning of new equipment. Install new equipment and pipework to meet client specifications. Attend breakdowns and provide rapid, effective solutions, including potential call-out responses.
Skills & Experience Required: Proven experience in
mechanical and electrical fault finding . Expertise in
compressed air systems
is essential. Familiarity with air conditioning systems is advantageous but not essential. Knowledge of
control and instrumentation systems
is preferred. Hands-on experience with the following equipment: Reciprocating compressors (piston compressors) Screw compressors Desiccant dryers Refrigerant dryers Filtration systems N2 systems Pumps and plant machinery
