An Ofsted-rated "Outstanding" client of ours is looking to hire a new Deputy Head of Engineering to join their Head of Engineering in growing, developing, and supporting their well-funded and modern Engineering Educational team to deliver to the next generation of Engineers. They are offering a salary of £46,208 per year along with 38 days of paid annual leave and contribute 28.68% of your salary to the Teacher's Pension Scheme every year (worth over an extra £13,000!), plus many more generous staff benefits. Responsibilities:
Work alongside the Head of Engineering who will support your development in an increasingly growing department. Support the development of the courses and enhance towards being a centre of excellence. Teach, support, and assess students' coursework. Oversee Mechanical & Electrical/Electronic Engineering qualifications. Plan a highly relevant and distinctive curriculum to meet the local/regional skills requirements. Implement the launching of the new T-levels in Engineering. Lead, communicate, and coordinate your team, so all students receive up-to-date and correct information. Work towards becoming a centre of excellence for green engineering within the region. Minimum Requirements:
A Level 4 or higher Engineering Qualification OR Industry Experience (Electrical/Mechanical/Aero). Experience within teaching OR assessing engineering (2+ years). A teaching/assessing qualification. A passion for teaching and leading the next generation of Engineers!
