Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking Insurance business. My client is on a transformation journey to accelerate data-driven decision-making and AI capability and is looking to appoint a Data Transformation Manager. You will be responsible for leading the transformation of the data landscape through the implementation of the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP), ensuring modern, scalable data solutions are in place and deliver the expected benefits to the business. Key Accountabilities: Drive large-scale data transformation initiatives across the enterprise, focusing on transitioning legacy systems to the EDP, delivering new data solutions to the business. Collaborate with business, IT, and data teams to define transformation requirements, timelines, and deliverables; also co-define data-driven solutions that support organizational objectives. Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders. Ensure smooth adoption of the EDP across various business units through effective change management strategies. Manage the lifecycle of data transformation projects from initiation to delivery. Plan, execute, and monitor transformation projects, ensuring they stay on track and deliver value to the organization. Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance frameworks are embedded within all transformation initiatives. Collaborate with the Data team and lead initiatives to modernize data architecture, ensuring scalability and efficiency. Technical Skills: Strong experience in managing data transformation and large-scale data projects. Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and enterprise data architecture. Experience in data governance, quality frameworks, and change management. Excellent stakeholder management and project leadership skills. Experience in the Insurance domain.
