Software Developer – Trading Firm -
London Role : Join a small, collaborative tech team owning the full development lifecycle, ensuring the high-throughput, low-latency systems you build meet the needs of the business. Responsibilities : Build real-time equity trading systems across domestic, European, and international markets. Develop internal tools for Research, Compliance, and Middle/Back Office. Manage FIX order/quote flows via industry networks and direct links. Analyse trading, commission, and marketplace data for internal insights. Tech : Java17, Java21, multithreading, low-level programming, and high-performance systems. Requirements : STEM degree 2–5 years’ Java development XP Strong grasp of multithreading, locking, and OS-level concepts (how things work under the hood) No prior finance experience required In-office role Why apply?
