RECfinancial are pleased to be recruiting exclusively for a Leicester based client, who are keen to recruit a Finance Officer reporting into the Finance Manager. This will be a full-time temporary role, working on a hybrid basis Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will have a fantastic opportunity to join an established vibrant business, within a flexible, forward thinking company. What will the Finance Officer role look like? Reporting into the Finance Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring all transactions are accurately reflected in the accounts. In addition, you will support the wider Finance team with any Finance Administration tasks as and when required. This is a varied Finance Officer role covering the Purchase and Sales Ledger and aspects of payroll. Responsibilities for the Finance Officer: BACS income allocation, distribution of the BACS list and query resolutions. Dealing with high volumes of transactions for the general ledger. Dealing with all purchase ledger invoices and adding them to the ledger. Completing Sales invoices and tracking on the correct journal. Completing the expenses. Completing payroll queries and ensuring the payments are correct for processing. Recording bank transactions and preparation of monthly reconciliations. Preparation and posting of monthly direct debit income journal. Running and distribution of income accounts to the business and completion of control accounts. Liaising and supporting internal colleagues with income related queries. Skills and Experience: Good Financial Background. IT skills, particularly Excel. Ability to work to tight deadlines, demonstrating time management and organisational ability. Self-motivated, team player, able to work autonomously within a framework. High levels of enthusiasm, personality, can-do attitude, and drive with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ensure professional knowledge, skills, initiative, innovation, and personal image are sufficiently developed to fulfil the requirement of the position.
